Even though it is a statue, he cherishes it as a living. He says his friends gifted it to him on his 25^th birthday. Leaving his hometown, former head of Shusha Region Culture Department Zahid Abbasov didn’t leave his gazelle statue over there: “The statue was crafted with copper, it’s handmade. It was made by Azerbaijani master. I feel regret at that time I didn’t ask whose handcraft it was. It has been with me since 1982. When I left Shusha, one of the belongings that I took with me was namely this gazelle statue”.
